“I’ve been getting asked the question for many years, ‘when is Third Day going to do a tour again,’ and I’ve always said… One day soon I hope!” said Mac Powell. “I’m so excited that we finally get the chance to play music together again on stage and give our fans what they’ve been waiting for.”

This is the announcement all of us ’90s kids needed. The era-defining, four-time GRAMMY Award-winning band has announced its 30th Anniversary Tour, kicking off in spring 2026. The classic lineup—Mac Powell, Mark Lee, David Carr, and Tai Anderson—will once again share the stage for a powerful 30-city arena tour celebrating one of the most impactful catalogs in Christian music history.

For the first time in eleven years, the full classic lineup will headline a live tour. Fans can expect a high-energy, emotional night filled with their favorite hits—a career-spanning collection of crowd-pleasers drawn from THIRD DAY’s 31 No. 1 singles.

The 30th Anniversary Tour is being billed as a limited-time celebration rather than a permanent return. It’s a moment to reconnect, and rejoice—but never say never.

Mark Lee added, “Third Day has always been, first and foremost, a live band. The best way to celebrate 30 years is to get back together for a tour. I can’t wait to get back out on the road with these guys and put on a big show for our fans.”

CCM Magazine has been a part of the Third Day story since the very beginning. Only a few weeks ago, we caught up with Mac Powell on the red carpet at the K-LOVE Fan Awards—just before he hosted—and he shared this with us:

“I started listening to Christian music way back in the ’90s…I didn’t know anything about Christian music and I would go pick up that that CCM Magazine and scan through it and go ‘Oh that person looks cool, that band looks cool.’ And I’d read the articles and it really opened up my eyes and my ears to what Christian music was and so I’m very thankful for CCM.”

Presented by Awakening Foundation, the tour begins March 19, 2026, in Jacksonville, Florida, and will travel coast to coast, hitting major venues like the Kia Forum in Los AngelesBridgestone Arena in Nashville, and concluding where it all began—in their home state of Georgia—May 10, 2026, at Gas South Arena.

Joining them on the road is Zach Williams, the GRAMMY-winning powerhouse behind “Chain Breaker” and “There Was Jesus,” whose signature blend of gritty gospel rock will make each night even more unforgettable.

“Celebrating 30 years of THIRD DAY is a true honor,” said Dan Fife, CEO of Awakening Events. “Adding Zach Williams as a very special guest makes this tour even more powerful. This is going to be a once-in-a-lifetime night of live music and celebration for all generations to experience.”

Tickets for all dates go on sale Friday, June 27 at 10 a.m. local time at www.ThirdDay.com and www.AwakeningFoundation.com.

And in even more good news: Mac Powell will be sitting down with CCM Magazine for an exclusive interview later this week to talk about the tour, the reunion, and what it means to return after so many years apart.

Stay tuned.
